This is an early 70s MM tempête in navy blue. Top handle. With suede interior & a little removable inside pocket. Beautiful box calf and nice gold plated hardware still made 100% in-house.
Designed by the famous "Brillant" creator - interior architect Paule Goethals as part of the yachting collection.
This Tempete still uses passe poil technique on the edges, which makes for a hard assembly as the bag needs to be turned inside out without mid folding any part. This bag is still polished with a Pierre d’Agathe manually by hand to give the shine to box calf leather. In the spring collection Delvaux just reintroduced this technique, but done in a very different way - making this bag very special.
